Play-based, educational programs have been a principal format for all of the services offered at BCCS. As the very first community school in British Columbia to offer a free family literacy parenting centre, the opening of the StrongStart BC Centre, provides an exceptional parent/caregiver participation program for children from birth through age five, brings our vision full circle with great validation for the value and benefit these programs bring to our community.

BCCS offers an extensive list of programs, events and activities throughout the year, from infants to adults. From quality licensed child care options beginning at age 2 ½ years to our various youth programs which provide elementary and secondary age children to interact with their peers in a positive, supervised environment, our weekly adult exercise class and monthly retirees social meetings; our focus continues to meet our mission to provide educational, social, cultural and recreational opportunities as a means of building and celebrating community.
