Our StrongStart Centre provides an exceptional parent/caregiver participation program for children from birth through age five. This free drop-in program follows the seasons with weekly themes and related activities. Families join our program facilitator for daily sessions including Arts & Crafts, Science & Nature, Music & Movement, Imagination Play, Stories, Songs & Rhyme Circle, Gym and Snack Time and well as parent/caregiver workshops and more.

Known first as Mom & Tots in 1998, this program later progressed into our Family Literacy Parenting Centre and ran successfully, 3 days per week for 6 years, in partnership with School District No. 20 with funding from the Vancouver Foundation and has now fully evolved into our current StrongStart Centre, funded through the Ministry of Education with support from School District No. 20.
